Leave The Room Game – Have you moved the ruler?

“Leave The Room” practices classroom vocabulary, prepositions and question forming with the present perfect.

Have you moved the ruler? You have moved the ruler.

The activity can also be done on the students’ desks in pairs (with small objects) by having one of the students turn around while the other removes the objects.

With younger students a simpler structure such as “There isn’t a book,”  “The book is missing” may be used

Remember to always demonstrate the activity with two students to begin with.
